Dan is a veteran of the modding community. He taught himself programming at the age of 12 with the explicit desire to make games. In 2003 he started Eternal Silence, an ambitious mod project developed for the Source Engine. The mod team grew to 16 developers and won numerous awards including the IGF Best Multiplayer Mod. In 2009, Dan partnered with Valve to release Eternal Silence on Steam.
In 2009 Dan founded Crankshaft Games, an independent studio based in Montreal, with the goal of creating meaningful games. Dan formed a team and began production on Party of Sin, a coop puzzle-platformer for PC. Party of Sin will be the studio's first commercial title and is due to release on Steam December 13th, 2012.
